New-look Local Government Pension Scheme from April 2008
The Department for Communities and Local Government(DCLG) has issued a consultation document “Where next? - Options for a new-look Local Government Pension Scheme in England and Wales”. It is intended that legislation for a new-look scheme will be in place by April 2007 for implementation in April 2008. The documents and LPFA's initial response are available here.
