During this time of year, we do see a peak in communications from members who need more information about their annual benefit statement, this unfortunately increases our call wait times. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause you, we are working hard to reduce our wait times to acceptable levels.

Our email volumes have also been impacted and whilst we aim to respond to emails within 10 working days we may not meet this timescale. Please be assured that we will process your query as soon as possible.


The administration of the New Firefighters' Pension Scheme (NFPS) and the Firefighters' Pension Scheme (FPS) for the Bedforshire Fire and Rescue Service is carried out by the Local Pensions Partnership (LPP).

If you send in your certificates by registered post or recorded delivery they will be returned to you via the same method. Should you feel uneasy about sending in your Original Certificates through the mail, please feel free to visit our office with no appointment necessary where your certificates will be registered and returned to you.
